The Implication, Challenges, and Pathways of College Students' Ideal Education in the New Era

Abstract

College students' ideal education in the new era is different from the ideal education of any period in the past. It has a unique times implication, including three aspects of political implication, innovation implication and actual effect implication. At the same time, there is also a gap between the expected state and the actual situation. It has fallen into the realistic dilemma of "weak political attributes", "insufficient reform and innovation", and "insufficient practical results". Only with a direction in heart can a person walk steadily and far. College students' ideal education in the new era must adhere to the correct reform path. Firstly, we need to optimize educational concepts and adhere to political attributes. Secondly, we need to activate educational motivation and innovate teaching paradigms. Finally, we must adhere to the "San Quan" education and consolidate educational effectiveness.

1. Introduction
The new era is the historical position of socialism with Chinese characteristics and also the opportunity for universities to carry out college students' ideal education. The new era has given college students' ideal education a specific era meaning and historical mission. Sorting out its times implication is beneficial to find out and analyze its realistic dilemma, and then explore and optimize its reform path. The purpose of this paper is to find and analyze the realistic dilemma of College Students' ideal education by combing the era meaning of College Students' ideal education, and then put forward the path of its reform.
2. Times Implication of College Students’ Ideal Education in the New Era
“Colleges and universities are the main front of moral education, an important field of ideal and belief education, and college students are an important group of ideal and belief education.” . Sorting out the times implication of College Students' ideal education helps to explore its era requirements and historical mission. It is not only urgent, but also very important.
2.1. Political Implication of College Students’ Ideal Education in the New Era

2.1.1. Political Consciousness of a Higher Position
Ideal education has political attributes, which are related to the core quality and political direction of talent cultivation, and have always been an important topic of concern for the government and schools. College students’ ideal education in the new era is even more so. College students are the continuation of the modernization drive and the new force for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The ideal education of post-2000 college students is a group political education. Informatization is the inevitable trend of college students' ideal education and the direction of education reform in the new era. However, many colleges and universities have not done enough in the aspect of informatization education reform, which is is mainly reflected in the lack of training, lax requirements and insufficient assessment. Many teachers neglect to participate in training and further study, resulting in their lack of information literacy, and can not effectively use modern information technology to help ideal educational activities. Some teachers don't know anything about VR technology and can't carry out immersive teaching activities of ideal education. They just want to rely on their excellent eloquence, but the result is often dry-mouthed and get half the result with double the effort. Some teachers don't know much about AI technology and can't interpret teaching cases in a three-dimensional way. They just try their best to render and elaborate. They are often exhausted and unproductive. Even some teachers can't skillfully use smart teaching tools such as rain class and SiVo, and still use manual attendance, raise hands to answer questions and paper exams, the result is often a flurry and constant mistakes.
3.2.3. Practice Education Innovation Is Not in Place
Practicality is an important attribute of ideal education, innovation is the requirement of the times of ideal education, and innovative practice is a major pain point of college students' ideal education at present. Ideological and political teachers' in class practice activities are mainly carried out in the traditional way of singing red songs and performing sketches, which lack fashion elements and can not activate the participation enthusiasm of post-2000 college students. Professional course teachers' in class activities of ideal education focus on career planning, simulated recruitment and other activities, which have no characteristics of the times and can not meet the practical needs of post-2000 college students. The ideal education campus activities carried out by cadres engaged in student management focus more on personal display, talent competition and other content, lack of group significance, and can not meet the group needs of post-2000 college students. The logistics department's assistance to college students' ideal education is mainly in the form of skill performance, unique skill display and so on, which is lack of academic support and can't promote post-2000 college students' conceptual cognition. Without innovative practical activities, there will be no improvement in the effectiveness of ideal education.
3.3. The Practical Effect of Education Is Insufficient
Practical effect is the measure of ideal education. Most colleges and universities regard the practical effect as the primary standard of ideal education, but the results in the specific practice are not satisfactory.
3.3.1. Political and Social Ideals Have Been Nihilized
“College students' ideal and belief education should not only highlight the scientific content, but also meet the growth needs of college students”. . The post-2000 college students generally pay attention to political reform and social development, highly agree with the lofty ideal of communism and the common ideal of socialism with chinese characteristics, and generally agree with the social ideal of freedom, equality, justice and the rule of law, but pay more attention to individual development and progress, and attach great importance to their own growth and success. At the same time, many teachers in Colleges and universities can not speak deeply and thoroughly when teaching political and social ideals, nor can they explain the dialectical logic and practical connection between group ideals and individual ideals clearly and in place. The result is that the post-00 college students will generally downplay their political and social ideals, and their attitude is not to oppose or deliberately help realize their political and social ideals. This kind of group behavior of nihilisming political and social ideals is extremely harmful. It will directly drain empty the core value of college students' ideal education, make it lose its significance and practical value, and become insignificant or even meaningless.
3.3.2. Career and Life Ideals Are Becoming Increasingly Utilitarian
Post-2000 college students generally attach great importance to their personal employment choices and life happiness, hoping to achieve life happiness through career development. However, they narrowly understand career development as a counter attack for promotion and salary increase and wealth, and materialize life happiness into luxury cars, villas and mansions. In addition, many teachers failed to explain the logical relationship between ideals and goals in a timely and scientific manner, failed to explain the similarities and differences between career ideals and career goals, and failed to teach the relationship between life ideal and life goal clearly. Therefore, many college students' career and life ideals have fallen into the quagmire of materialism, which needs necessary help and correction. But they are not willing to correct this utilitarian ideological tendency. Instead, they are deeply convinced and firmly adhere to this material logic, so that they are deeply hurt and unaware of it. The materialization of career and life ideals is only the externalization of the material logic of post-2000 college students, while the group material logic of post-2000 college students is more harmful and has more terrible consequences.
3.3.3. The Ideal of Personality and Quality Are Alienated
Post-2000 college students respect but do not blindly improve their personality and quality cultivation, disdain to cover up utilitarian career and life ideals, But they will not refuse all means to seek utilitarian goals. They dare to love and hate, and express their feelings directly, but they also envy and secretly learn how to speak tactfully and socialize effectively. They insisted on justice and awe inspiring righteousness, but they also meditated and secretly learned how to pursue fame and wealth by all means. The alienation of personality and quality ideal will not only harm the personality development and quality improvement of college students, but also directly harm the overall training quality of socialist successors, and have an immeasurable long-term impact.“The ideal and belief education follows the unity of knowledge and practice, including the ideological transformation of people and the norms of behavior”. . Many colleges and universities fail to detect and solve the above significant and quiet changes in the thoughts and behaviors of post-2000 college students.
4. Reform Approach of College Students’ Ideal Education in the New Era

It is not only imperative but also imminent for colleges and universities to carry out classroom revolution. Universities should encourage teachers to carry out characteristic and fashionable classroom teaching, fully play teachers’ leading role, persuade students with profound theoretical explanations, attract students with innovative in class practices, and inspire students with rigorous problem design, that is, to control the entire teaching process through exquisite explanations and interesting interactive practices. At the same time, new teaching paradigms such as flipped classroom, half classroom, and brainstorming should be implemented to fully mobilize students' initiative and creativity in self-directed learning, give full play to students' main role, help students consciously preview teaching content before class, actively participate in teaching interactions during class, and actively study what they have learned in class after class, realize enjoyment in play and achievement in learning, truly realizing the integration of theory and practice, and the mutual growth of learning and research.
4.2.2. The Informationize of Education Reform Needs to Be Accelerated
The informationize of education reform is the general direction of ideal education in colleges and universities, which can only be adhered to and cannot be deviated from. Colleges and universities should normalize and institutionalize teachers' information training, and make it tasked and standardized for teachers to improve their information literacy. At the same time, certain subsidies should be given to teachers with strong learning willingness, good training effect and high information literacy. Colleges and universities should also carry out task arrangement and process management for teachers' VR classroom teaching, AI teaching competition, rain classroom examination, etc., and do a good job in pre encouragement, in-process management and post award work. Teachers with high frequency, good effect and excellent student evaluation of information-based teaching should be given timely and objective evaluation and recognition, and should be given priority in evaluation and promotion. In other words, colleges and universities should adopt various management and incentive measures to make teachers willing to participate in information training and diligent in carrying out information-based education reform, at the same time, empower teachers' professional ability and teaching effect through information-based education reform.
4.2.3. Practical Education Should Be Implemented in Detail
Ideal education has the attribute of practice, which must be implemented in detail, but not empty and ineffective. Ideological and political teachers should not only do well in class practice such as poetry recital and sing red songs, integrate personal ideals with times dreams, but also do well in social practice such as going to the grass-roots level and visiting people's livelihood, and link personal feelings with social practice. Professional course teachers should carry out routine practical activities such as simulated job fairs and visits to outstanding alumni, and at the same time, do well in career life planning activities such as study plan, work plan, etc. Student management cadres should be upright and innovative, and do well in full coverage education activities. They should not only implement new campus activities such as micro propaganda competition and micro film competition, but also innovate traditional campus activities such as campus singer audition and moral short sketch competition. The logistics department must not stand idly by, but should take the initiative to work and innovate services. They should not only do well in the service work with superb skills and warm attitude, but also do well in the education work of setting an example and demonstrating by example.
4.3. Adhere to the "San Quan" Education and Consolidate Educational Effectiveness
College students' ideal education is a systematic project, which needs multi-party coordination at the height of "San Quan" education.
4.3.1. Strengthen the Working System of "San Quan" Education
Multi party coordination is the key to the effectiveness of ideal education. The "San Quan" education can not be idle, and must be supported by the corresponding working system. Colleges and universities should strengthen the working system, do well in the work deployment and task arrangement of "San Quan" education. Ideological and political course teachers should deeply participate in the ideological and political reform of professional courses. They should not only give advice and macro guidance, but also deeply participate in and complete task. Professional courses teachers should normally listen to ideological and political teaching, and fulfill the quantitative task requirements of total quantity and frequency with high quality. The joint education of teachers invited by student management cadres should have both a public-to-public platform and mechanism, as well as mutual assistance and coordination invited by individuals. This requires not only completing the formal requirements of quantity and scale, but also improving the effectiveness of quality and efficiency. The logistics department should have system support and working platform to participate in "San Quan" education. It should not only closely follow the system, plan as a whole, and assign responsibility to people, but also skillfully use the platform, innovate forms, and improve efficiency.
4.3.2. Optimize Security System of "San Quan" Education
The overall guarantee of people, money and materials is the fundamental to carry out "San Quan" education reform and ensure the effectiveness of education. Colleges and universities should pay attention to the cultivation of high-quality teachers, and select excellent teachers according to the working mechanism of "San Quan" education, so as to enrich and strengthen the ideological and political education team. Colleges and universities should also set aside special funds for ideal education from ideological and political education funds or student management funds, and implement special management, special account storage, special account accounting and special use, so as to ensure sufficient funds and strong guarantee for activities. Colleges and universities should ensure that all kinds of software and hardware facilities can be guaranteed in place and the service is efficient. For example, teachers should be able to share timetables in the E-educational administration system to ensure that there is no conflict in time and space when they listen to each other. The opening of smart classrooms and VR virtual simulation centers should be normalized and institutionalized to ensure that teachers can use them at any time. The venues, apparatus and equipment for student activities should be guarded by specially assigned personnel and open all year round to ensure that they can be taken out and used well when necessary.
4.3.3. Improve the Assessment System of "San Quan" Education
“All staff education covers all personnel in the colleges and universities system”. . The target assessment of ideal education should naturally be full participation without exception. Colleges and universities should face all education subjects of college students' ideal education, and carry out unified standards and classified assessment according to the division of tasks and personal responsibilities of "San Quan" education. That is, different groups such as ideological and political course teachers, professional course teachers, student management cadres and logistics personnel should be classified and assessed according to the division of tasks and work characteristics, but the assessment standard should be unified to the effectiveness of education. Colleges and universities should implement one vote veto for the work and individuals that the weakening of political and social ideal education, the marginalizing of career and life ideals ideal education and the ignoring of personality and quality ideal education, and adhere to the assessment standard and assessment process. At the same time, colleges and universities should carry out commendation activities in a timely manner after the comprehensive assessment, and carry out conference commendation and unified award. Units and individuals that have made outstanding contributions and achieved remarkable results should be commended and reported publicly. For departments and employees who are conservative and slow-moving, they should supervise and urge follow-up, give key assistance and supervise the rectification.

It is very important to keep pace with the times and strengthen the education of college students' ideals and beliefs according to the situation”. . Colleges and universities and teachers must be based on the historical position of the new era, adhere to the political attribute, innovate the teaching paradigm, and consolidate the effectiveness of education.
